Getting to know you is an important part of the therapeutic process. In our first few sessions, weβll talk deeply to understand your story from childhood and identify what struggles youβre currently facing. We do this to connect the dots and see how the past is impacting the present β and how we can shape the future from here. Couples sessions begin with a meeting all together, followed by two individual sessions for each of you before we meet together again.

No, I only see my clients for one or the other. I can offer a referral for the other service should you choose to work with me. The reason for this is that once I see you individually, I would be biased and wouldnβt be able to see you as a couple in a fair way. The same applies if I see you as a couple first.

Yes! Individual therapy can help you explore perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and help you learn tools to navigate through it.
Iβm Gayane Aramyan, LMFT β as a therapist for moms and a mom who goes to therapy myself, I know the right fit matters.
Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I take an empathetic approach to therapy, using my own life experience as a mother and wife to intuitively connect with my clients. I meet you where you are at, hold space without judgement, and help you piece together your story so you can feel like you again.

As moms, we all experience the ups and downs of parenting littles while staying connected with ourselves and our partners. On my blog, I help women in all seasons of motherhood understand what theyβre feeling, learn practical tools that fit in even the smallest windows of me-time, and identify whether additional support is needed.
